Project Objectives

SMACC+ aims to accelerate sustainable innovation in cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals by scaling bioactive compounds from microalgae and cyanobacteria.

  1. Develop stable and effective formulations based on microalgae and cyanobacteria bioactive compounds.
  2. Validate green extraction and processing methods with strong sustainability criteria.
  3. Transfer technical knowledge to SMEs through workshops and replicable tools.
